Default Need 80" Ugly Stick plans...

Hi Guys,
I am in need of an 80" ugly stick to build...and use to brake in my new 20cc gas engines. Does any one have a set they are willing to sell...or can anyone point me to where I can get a kit or a set of plans ?

On my 86" stick I had a 45cc and it was way under powered.

That 20cc may be better on a 72" one.

Ditto, The Ultra Stick 120 would be a good choice if you consider an arf. I'm repairing a wreak I got super cheap for the same purpose as you.

With a DLE 20 that size Stick will be quite underpowered, and you will need at the very least a DLE 30 engine for it. An Ultra Stick 1.20, Great planes Big Stick 60 or a Joss Stick would be the models of choice for your 20cc engine.

I fly my gp 80' stick with a 55 cc and its just right.i would follow the others advice and build a 60 size stick for a 20cc. If an arf would be ok look here http://texasrcplanes.com/dr60niorel66.html

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the advise. I agree...a good .60 to .90 size Ugly Stick would be my best bet. Both Texas RC and Tower sell one at about the same price.

I had a DLE 30 on my Great Plane Big Stick (80" WS, I think) and it was perfect DLE 20 would not have been enough ....

By the way, that DLE 20 does not need much 'break in'.   Get right oil/gas mixture, set the needles, and start flying... its a good engine.
