Check Tower Hobbies Website for an aproximate price and then start haggling with your LHS.
I cannot comment about the ARF, but the kit builds nice and the model flies well.

Tower has the kit for$90.00 and the ARF foy $150.00. I built the kit last winter.Easy build. With either one, make sure you bend the landing gear so that the axle is at the leading edge. If you don't, they like to nose over.
