BUSA 1/6 scale Nieuport 28C camoflage is a combination of Solartex and Monokote Flat iron on covering. Great Planes Super Skybolt kit (1960's vintage kit built a few years ago) is combination of Monokote and Ultracote based on the "Beast" color scheme.

Very nice models and workmanship in this thread. I'm seeing builders I've followed for years, that are still gettin with it, and have only honed the craft, thanks for sharing, and helping me learn!
TomCrump, Sensei, RICKSTUBBZ, Daddyo57, Jaybird, and many more then I can even name.... so many... Good thread here!
Very cool guys! Nice to be among you!

Thanks so much Tom, thats a stretch though... I'm just very fortunate, and very slow at it... ha. I learned alot by watching, reading, and following alot of you guys. I only wish I could say I came up with many of the concepts I've seen. I do like my films, I'm always in awe of the real nice glassed and painted schemes though.
Hope everyone's having a great week.

I appreciate the positive comments. I agree --- lots of nice airplanes pictured here by a lot of guys that do a great job building/covering their flying machines.
Their are quite a few guys that I have followed their threads and learned....I don't want to put names for the chance of forgetting someone... But there are many.
That is the great thing about these forums -- all of us being able to share ideas and techniques. Not to mention the opportunities to build friendships across great distances.
ANYWAY....Without mentioning everyone by name....Great Job ....great Looking airplanes..

Very true.
I've made some great friendships through the forums.
I've seen some great builds that have inspired me to try to improve my building techniques.
These forums are awesome. I feel bad for those who do not utilize them as they are the best modelling resource available.

My lazy ace covered in Sig Koverall and an all dope finish. Built from plans. Cowl is scratch built fiberglass. Originally it had a Supertigre .90. I livened it up with a US 41 which nearly ripped the wings off it then settled in on a G26.
