Engine for a Giant Scale Stinger
This winter I picked up scratch-built plane based on the giant Stinger but with built up wings, turtledeck, etc. The previous owner had a electronic ignition G62 in it. I installed my Q52 in it. Its my understanding the the Q52 produces only marginally less power than the G62 so I'm hoping this will be a good combo.
I also have a NIB Giant Scale Stinger kit sitting under the stairs, and a US41 sitting around that I'm not using, so I'm wondering if the that would be enough if it was built stock, kept light, and covered in monokote or ultracote.

RE: Engine for a Giant Scale Stinger
Not sure about the US41, but it flies very well with the G-62... One of the Guys at our field has one and he let me fly it. once the G-62 was broken in, on a 22-10 it flew quite well. If you are looking to pull out of a hover, you may need more power. It will do all the other manuvers with the 62. Hope this helps.
