Default New Top Flight Bonanza re-release..

Would you pay $250 or so for the kit? They are going from $190-$440 all day long on ebay for the kit only. I have written them and no cares. I think there are enough of us to justify them bring it back out. Or would you like another plane? One of my Favorites... The Piper Comanche. Please put your input and I will submit this thread to the people who need to see it at Top Flight... Thanks, Keith

well... it's not a Top Flight, but I'm building the HOB 1/2A Bonanza. 35$ kit from Ebay and I've already have at least 50$ of fun building it! I love the V-tail.

I've always wished they'd move away from the warbirds a bit and put out some more civilian kits. God bless them though, they keep putting out good kits! My vote was for the Commanche but would still like to see another run of the Bonanzas. I just wish they'd figure out a better way to do the canopys. It seems they could design a built up one without having those huge plastic ones.

I contacted them a few months ago with a suggestion. I forgot the name of who replied but he was great and we talked back and forth for a while about the idea.

Yeah, I personally thought the canopy was ok.Pretty simple I thought. I bought an F33A Bonanza that was built and I stripped it and sold the plane to my friend. He has a real F33A and he has a huge house , so I helped him make a cieling art piece. The plane was too nice to actually fly anyway. It had so much detail that it was overweight like crazy. I want an F33A, thats my biggest propblem with an ARF V tail. Maybe if they do us an ARF, it will be your choice on the tail..

How bout a C-320 or a fan powered airliner that is affordable and looks good, not these over priced electrics you see.

NNaaahhhhh there is not 1 good scale Piper Super Cub on the market, the Dynaflight Cub is a piece. If you want a good Super Cub you have to bash the crap out of a Sig or BUSA Cub. If they make it I will buy it

I love it if they even rekitted their old cub. It's an old-school kit by todays standards but it sure looked good built.

OK, thats cool, but lets keep this a Bonanza/Comanche thread. Puhleeeeze? As much as I love cubs too, lets try to keep it 1/2 on track. Thanks. Keith

PS You know a nice 1/4 scale Piper Tomahawk would be nice......think of the cockpit detail you could put in!

I respect a J3 heritage, but it's quite a boring plane...

I have two Sig bonanzas Be33's and two Stafford Commanches.

I really see no point in GP offering a Commanche. The Staffords fly great and look great. +

I also have a Berkeley Navion, A & A Aeronca Champ, Two Bridi Commanders, Sig/Berkeley Cessna 170, Ikon Stinson 108, Plans and plastics for Rich Uravich Cessna 195, and the old Sterling Tripacer which is a cutie pie. Oh, and an Ercoupe

I like civil scale because no one around here seems to build any. And my favorite thing in the world is to do touch-n-goes. Civil works for that just fine.
