RE: What Kit would you like to see brought back?
I'm surprised out of 6 pages now No One voted for:
Great Planes
-Learjet 40
-F-4 Phantom
-F-14 Tomcat
These kits are must come back from GP series of propjets kits!
Others that i would like to see come back are:
Royal/Muritika Kits
All twin engined and Multi engined kits...
Sig
Murasio (Spelling) in giant scale kit would great come back..

Skyshark ME109
TopFlite FW190D9
Mig 3 (dunno if there ever was a .60 size kit, but there should be)
Companies must do thier market research in overly patriotic World War 2 veterans retirement homes...no axis birds and no communist birds either. 400 different P51's tho....

I agree with you re:- Axis warbirds, it seems to me that every man and his mutt have a P-51 and a spitfire at least, but very few have axis planes. I have scratchbuilt the mig3, and several Antonovs all of which flew well and sold quickly to unsolicited offers. My guess is the manufacturers and retailers are only keen on making kits that are sold before they hit the shelves. I have asked several hobby shops to get something different in, only to be told that they need to know they can sell them before they will order, as supposedly there is a minimum of each they can order. seems suspect to me but thats what I am told. even if true, I wonder how many out there are sheep and gortta have the P-51 etc, and how many are individual enough to buy something different?

That actually true for the most part. A lot of supplies require you to make a minimum order on your first, and sometimes all, orders.

RE: What Kit would you like to see brought back?
I'm with Props4ever.
I'd like to see the Royal/Marutaka kits come back. They weren't very builder friendly (lots of carving etc) but they were fairly accurate and they modeled some of the lesser modeled kits. I'd especially like to see:
P-26A Peashooter: There doesn't seem to be a good kit of that plane anymore in the 1/5 to 1/6 scale size. I don't want a Chinese made 120 size ARF. I want a kit I can customize, add Flaps, etc. The P-26A is an all time classic for the Golden Age with an interesting history and loads of character.
Perhaps this plane has already been covered, (I haven't read the other pages), but does anyone else agree with this choice?

MEN Trainer. My brother learned to fly on one in the 70's - if I remember right it was purple and green. I know, I know [:'(], but it was alot of fun. I remember him letting me share the sticks - reluctantly - that I could learn to fly. It would be nice to see it again after all these years in all it's purple and green glory.

Nice choices, I sure liked my GP F-4. Flew it for several years and then sold it unfortunately. I have another in the box though and it's been sitting there for 10 years now! The fate of many kits!

Since this thread started, how many have come back? I can think of two, the BUSA Flybaby and Flybaby Bipe, if you count those as two.
I would like to see them bring back the Aeronca C-3 quarter scale.
I'd also love to see the Dynaflite Spitfire, Goldberg Jr. Tiger, and Airtronics New Era 40 or NE III. Ain't gonna happen. Well, I suppose an e version of the Jr. Tiger could happen.

The first one I ever built ,the Sterling Piper Tri Pacer And the Headmaster Sport 40 plus the Das Ugly Stick . There are so many from days gone by ,I would love to recapture those years but they are just gone .
