Phoenix Models Decathalon info wanted
Anyone know of a manual for the Phoenix Models Decathalon on the web? Does Phoenix Models even have a web site or are they just sold thru a select number of distributors?

RE: Phoenix Models Decathalon info wanted
I was looking at the Decathlon, Top Flite Contender or the SIG Four Star 60 as my second plane. I built a Goldberg Eagle kit when I first started the hobby 15 years ago then stopped flying after I moved overseas the same year. I recently started flying again and built a Tower ARF trainer ...not too much building experience, but I will have some time over the winter and help from my club members. I see Tower has major replacement components for the Decathlon...think I'll be OK building and flying the Decathlon or the others with my limited experience?

I can't speak to your experience, but if you can handle a trainer without problem, I'd go ahead and build yourself a 4 star or look at Bruce Tharpe's Venture 60. Bruce designed the 4 star and the Venture is essentially the same plane with some improvements.
