Default Transparent covering question

I plan on covering my giant stinger with transparent monokote on the wings, and tail feathers. My question is about the wings. I want to use the transparent only on the areas that I cut out of the foam wings. There are bays formed from the cap strips that I cut out to save weight. I plan on using solid white to overlap the transparent yellow to trim it out all the way around. I was wondering if there will be a color difference in the overlap with the solid over the trans, and how much of a overlap I will need?

Default RE: Transparent covering question

I would use 1/2" of overlap all around. The transparent yellow should not show through the opaque white.
