Default Thinning Balsaloc?

I'm covering a speed-400 old-timer (SOY Buzzard Bombshell) with LiteSpan & Balsaloc. It's the first time I've used these products, though I'm comfortable with film and grew up on dope & tissue. The Balsaloc seems pretty thick, and I've read many warnings to avoid using too much of it. Can I thin it before application, say one part water to three parts Balsaloc?

Thanks very much, Bruce. I did send a note over to Solarfilm, and they replied that they didn't recommend thinning because it allowed the adhesive to soak into the balsa. Preferred to have it sit on top. So I went with it neat - worked very well.
