What to build?
Ok, the workbench is clean and I'm getting the itch to build something. The only requirement I have is that it be able to use the Saito FA-91 or FA-150GK I already have.
I like Edge 540's and CAP 232's as well as most pattern ships. No scale stuff.
Suggestions?

RE: What to build?
If you are looking for a challenge... try looking at the 'Classic Pattern' site.
One of the fellows has Scratch build a 1973 classic pattern plane called the 'Blue Angel'. Plans, canopy and foam wings are available. The thread currently is 25 pages of photos, building tips and comments.
You will be hard pressed to duplicate that man's abilities - AND it's reputed to be one EXCELLENT flying plane!

How about a Goldberg Sukhoi? I like the round cowl & very clean lines.

RE: What to build?
I think of scale as in Warbird scale. Not a fan. I'm intrigued by the Blue Angel ideal. Kewl looking plane and a good challenge . I've looked at the Sukhoi, but just not feeling it. And I've already owned the GP Extra. Really sucks that kits are going by the wayside. I think I will seriously considering building from scratch. Besides the Blue Angel any other suggestions for a fun fly (sport) scratch built plane?

RE: What to build?
Try a Sig Astro Hog. Sig also makes it in a bi-plane. It is a fun plane to build and you will love the way it flies. You can find them on Sig's web at www.sigmfg.com. It is aerobatic as well as just fun to fly. The plans allow you to make it a trike or tail dragger build - your choice. Sig makes an excellent KIT.
Good luck with whatever you decide!
