Default Aerobatic biplane.

Any good kits or plans out there for a 60 - 90 sized aerobatic or 3D capable biplane? I have a new Saito 100 that either needs a new firewall or a new owner.

Check out OMP, they've got a profile Ultimate that sounds like what you're looking for, if you don't mind 'skinny' airplanes.

Buy a set of the Bucker Jungmann plans from Goldberg and scratchbuild one with balsa fuse instead of ply. It should come in below 9lb if done right and is an excellent aerobatic design, much better than the typical Ultimate bipe.

mcmike, not bashing your choice, I am thinking of the typical full fuse Ultimate like the Goldberg 10-300 kit and similar aircraft. The profiles are different beasts altogether.

I would go with A goldberg Ultimate 10-300 keep the weight down and it will do any manuver in the book on a supertigre .90.

Try a Sig Astro Hog BiPlane. Great kit to build, easy plans and directions, and made out of quality wood and parts. You will not be disappointed with the build and the plane. It is fun to fly and aerobatic. You can go to their web to see it - www.sigmfg.com

Good luck with your choice.

I agree with Capt Lou. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...1p?&I=SIGA6169 I am building this Hog Bipe as well and I also have a Saito 100 just waiting to be installed.
