D&L is a great kit. I built one using there rib pack and scratch built every thing else. It is a great flying airplane.
BUT! Don't expect to save money over a H9 ARF. The first thought is that scratch building is cheap. It can be for some people. If you buy your landing gear, canopy, cowl, and wheel pants you run the cost right on up. That plus the cost of plans and of course there is the question of paint. None of this is cheap.
I scratch build because in the end I think I have a better airplane.
And because I like to build to a specific size or specific model.

Sorry but Aeroworks discontinued that scale (%25). I
am really bummed about it since I was saving up for that
kit. If anyone knows a really good kit of the Edge in %25.

Lanier makes a fair 25% 540T
anyways. I can't believe no one out there doesn't make
this plane in kit form (1/4 scale).
Someone please tell me I'm wrong. I would love it.

HELLO I HAVE MOLDS FOR EDGE 540 1/4 SIZE 73 INCH WING SPAN DESIGNED AROUND A YS91 ENGINE AND PLAN TO MAKE 5 THIS SUMMER. THESE ARE EPOXY GLASS FUSELGES WITH THE FIN MOLDED IN ,COWL,HATCH ARE GLASS AND FOAM FEATHER CUT WING VACUUM FORMED.
