Super Sportster Bipe Help
I have built quite a few sportsters, but never a bipe. I have a 20 size I just pulled out if its aging box, and started laying out on the building table. I was looking it over and it reminded me of one of the first RC friends I made, and all he ever flew was 20 size sportster bipes, which he would graciously let me (I was young) take the sticks. Well he's been gone for a while now, and this project got me thinking of him, and those fun little bipes. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for some plans, or Ideas on building one. I would love to find a kit, but they seem pretty rare these days. Ive been in and out of the hobby, gotten into giants and helis, and some of the best memories and most fun Ive had is with these little sportsters.
Thanks,
Thanks,

You are right, they are pretty rare. If you watch ebay, they will show up on there from time to time. There are lots of bipes out there. Have you considered one that is available? Sig has the Ultimate, Hog Bipe, Smith Miniplane. GP has the ultimate.

RE: Super Sportster Bipe Help
I have had other bipes, just really want one of these, but more for old sakes value.
Its kinda funny but the othe small bipe that I liked I think is out of producion as well. I think it was called the Gee Be Dreamer.

Ive also wanted to build a SS Bipe for a long time. Those that show
up on Ebay go for rather ridiculous sums of money.
Great Planes has shown some willingness to reissue some kits
if they believe there is sufficient demand. Such was the case with the
Ultra Sports and Super Sportster 40 and 60.
Keep asking them to reissue the SS Bipe and you never know
what may happen. I would certainly pick up one or two.

RE: Super Sportster Bipe Help
Im not sure if they did either, The ones I saw, were probably just kit bashed.
I was hoping someone might have some 40 size bipe plans I could copy or buy.
