I have the fuselage bottom, top of the nose, bottom of the nose, and cowl ring done whenever you are ready for that.

Don’t wait for me I am making mistakes trying to keep up with you are moving to fast for me. You have a lot more experience than me, it is going to take me longer to get it right. I have the aft bottom done bit needed to poke a lot of holes with a pin to get air bubbles out?

Do not rush . . . when you are ready, here is the top nose piece
Unfortunately I have lost those photos from my computer [:@] so I can not post them. But it is real easy to do wzak. Although I have cut my covering at the canopy outside line you need to go all the way to the instrument panel. I do not need the inside canopy covered beyong the canopy as I have painted the canopy.
I don't have the steps of covering the top nose but here is the completed nose.

I DO NOT WANT YOU TO RUSH, take your time so that it is done right. I am only posting these photos to help you when you get to that stage, it is not a competition.
covering the bottom of the nose
1: Scrap pieces of covering ironed to the inside of the nosegear hole
2: Using my heat gun to tighten the covering after all the excess material was trimmed away. Again, be careful around the edges.
3, 4, 5: The completed nosegear bottom

I can not stress it enough. Please do not rush, do it at your own pace. This is where I am at and I am not doing any more until you are caught up.
Let me know when I can start again (no rush) even if it takes you two or more weeks to catch up.
You rush = you make mistakes.

Nice work shd3920 and I can't agree with you more to take your time when covering these rounded surfaces.
Cheers,

You do very nice work. I cant wait to see the results of both planes.
wzak: We all make mistakes, at least you are fixing them. Covering takes a bit to master. Once you do a couple planes it will get easier. What you have posted so far looks really good. turtle decks (i find anyways) are very hard to do without a wrinkle or two here and there. another thing that i find helps, is work with smaller pieces. especially when working with compound curves.

I really love that color. Compared to my simple white coloring.
All I have left on the fuselage is the sides as well. When do you want to do them wzak?

Thank you homeboy and everyone else who shared their thoughts and kind words.
I picked up some yellow stars as well as yellow and black striping tape for the graphics. So it won't be entirely black and white
How do you think the yellow will look with the B&W?

Just a suggestion for sealing the edges of the film in the engine compartment. In the past I would mix a batch of 30 minute epoxy and paint the edges if the film so as to help lock them down. It keeps it from peeling.
