Another Mystery Stick
Does anyone recognize this Stick? I got it for Christmas in 1982. For the life of me I cannot recall what it is. the windscreen was my add on i believe. It had about a 60" span and was powered by a Supertiger G60.

No, not a swizzle stick, but I still think it could be a Balsa USA product. I have seen several of those
some years ago, but can't remember their name.

I think it is a Balsa USA kit as well. I have pictures of me opening the box on Christmas day. I had the blueprints out etc. but cannot see the name in any of the photos.

RE: Another Mystery Stick
I just looked around on Balsa USA's site and found a set of plans that they sell for a Superstick. No details or pictures. I sent them an email with the above picture to see if it is the same plane.

The model in the picture is a little too large to be a Swizzle Stick, but the rear crutch assembly of the fuselage is very similar.
I built my Swizzle Stick in 82 and powered it with a Super Tigre .35 R/C engine - a great combination. The wife flew it once and then decreed it was her model. That actually made me happy. Besides, she is a good pilot, so I knew it was in good hands.

RE: Another Mystery Stick
I got my reply back from Balsa USA. Here is a copy/paste from the email....
BINGO!! That’s a Super Stick for sure and a pretty good looking one too!!
We still have the plans, and there’s a small possibility we might re-release the old Super Stick in the not to distant future!

.....I don't know if I would build another as I am into giant scale now and not much into nitro anymore. It was a fantastic kit though and I flew the heck out of it for almost ten years before it met its demise. Allot of great memories from a great flying plane.
