Default Finishing ABS cowls

Hi guys, just wondering what is the recommended filler to use on ABS cowl's, I used some gel coat repair but it looked to me like it would crack so I took it back off.

Any suggestions?

Cheers Dale

Better reinforce the back side with lite weight fiber glass cloth bonded on with ABS pipe cement

You can use the typical Bondo type polyester fiberglass fillers and "Sputty" spot type fillers on the outside

I CA the sections together and use lite weight body filler to cover the seams.

Evercoat fiberglass bondo. Hardens up enough to sand in about 30 minutes or less. I had some sitting in my shop for about 4 years. Hardener went bad, bought another tube of hardener at CarQuest and back in business. Great stuff.
