HL Pershing gets a little work
I decided to do a little work on the Pershing this weekend.
I rewired the tank to neaten up the interior. THis tank is equipped with a DBC with an ELV sound card for the cannon and hit sounds. This is a digital unit that allows you to upload .wav files on it. It results in a cleaner sound then with the analog recorder.
I removed the side skirts, and just generally did some cleaning up and added some stowage.

Nice Pershing but there are some changes that should be made on muzzle brake, German tow cables and sandbags. Weathering and colors look nice.

Well the sand bags were picked up to help hold down the tarps that keep the ammo dry at night. The tow cable was a victory prize, and the muzzle brake..........you got me there!!!!!!!

Here is a link to the German site where I got these.
[link=http://www.elv.de/output/controller.aspx?cid=74&detail=10&detail2=17773&flv=1&bereich=&marke=]ELV Sound cards[/link]
Shipping is a killer, I bought 3 to help ease the pain. Nice little card that is really loud so it works really well when matched up with Davids DBC.

Thats the way to 'splain it away...
The Depot may have a beef, but some of the class 6 rations in the cases will keep him off your case, right?
WhiteWolf
can't wait to get back to his own class 6 rations... *sigh*

Here is a You tube link showing the ELV sound card in action. This is not my video, but it is from Forum member Borelis. He is the guy that put me on to these things.

With all the new interest in IR lately, it might be an idea to bring up some of these older threads.

interesting...so does this card play over top of the standard engine sounds, or do you have to replace the standard sounds with this card?

The Heng Long engine sound remains. This ELV card replaces the analog sound card that you can buy with the DBC if you choose.
