Looker2756... Well, it lives not too far from you, over here in Southern Illinois... I'll be taking it to Chicago a few times, Minneapolis this weekend, and at the Mid America RC Challenge down here in Mount Vernon on Sept. 22. Also, there are several of these funny cars (built on the same general plan) racing in Celina, Ohio this summer...Many more finished and under construction pics at quarterscalelegends, dot com.

Modifiers cover will not fit over Turtles alum clutch bell, but WILL fit over the steel bell (the black one)
i will not be using the alum one for bashing, only for racing. Turtle also improved the alum one (you can see from the pics) how the cooling works, and they have a harder anodized dip.

2pock - Sign this guy up! You know he's itching to race that thing. Bring him down to Ronkonkoma with you to get him hooked, then he'll be a definite for the 5th scale class at FBF!

Glad you guys liked the car.Tough getting on road bodies/stickers that are not fg,this one is 1/4 scale that
i got from ebay 2 years ago.I used tamiya spray cans im not that great at painting,but money being tight i had to do it myself.
Sorry took so long to reply,im not on the computer usually till late.If it dosent rain sunday im going to bring it to SI to work out any running qwerks it may have.Then ill bring it to FBF next weekend if possible.I like the corvette[8D] i have the same one but its a hpi mini rs4.Rc

Ill be in si sunday all day cause of other things i gotta do,but when i have time ill be starting the engine
dialing in the suspension,shift points etc.I visited the LI web site,cars look good running[sm=thumbup.gif].Im thinking of going
to floyd bennet field next sunday.Havent bin there in years.Richie.C

Thats a cool size comparison there !! Ha Ha. Wanted to post a picture of a 5b that we assembled for the bosses wife. It looks very nice, It just has a female kind of look to it. We thought that would help inspire her to drive it. I've not seen on even kinda like it yet. It's stock other than the Basic add-ons & a different body. The combinations are endless with these & I'm loving it!!
