Default the hyper st PRO thread!

well ive seen threads for rtr trucks and pro trucks so i feel i need to start a st pro thread. i just picked up mine today and well its a KIT!!!! thats right the only thing that is assembled is the 6 gear center spider diff. it comes with a fuel bottle and ultra cool wheels and the new body it thick and ultra cool to. but the parts quality looks real good and god those shock towers! i think they are 7mm thick and the wheels are the same diameter as the losi 8t wheels so losi tires will work on the hyper rims! thats good news as you will have tire options and you will have more after proline releases their new tires as well this kit looks awsome comes with 35wt shock oil and 7k diff oil as well. but man the aluminum parts look like REAL quality i think hoabo has really steped it up in the quality department. 468.00 is what i paid and it was worth it now i will post back after i get itup and runnin have a trophie race on sunday so i need to get to work plus i also need to break in a vspec before then to. so i you like truggy KITS this could be right up youre ally.

i take it its the screws under the chassis that go into your diff holder....i would use a dremil with a small disc and cut a straight line so you can use a flat head screwdriver..if you have access to a small hobby blow torch then heat the screw up from underneath..be realy careful..your not trying to burn the thing just heat it up slowly..that should losen the glue..dont burn yaself..or drill the head of the screw off ,so you can pull it thru..
hope this helps

the ones on top...then there easier to do...just cut a straight grove thru them for a flathead screwdriver..make sur you use a big driver tho .more leverage..

Hey wrat, how did you installed the Hyper 8 receiver box? I like the way you did it, it's neat, will done. I hate the box like the one on Hyper 7.

Where can you buy these, and what do they cost? I'm gonna need a winter project, and this thing appeals to me... (I only bash and I like what I hear about how tough these ST's supposedly are..)
