Default Any known problems using Hitec Servos with Futaba 6014 Rx?

Does any body know if there are any problems using Hitec servos (in particular HS-5125MG) with the Futaba R6014 receiver?

Many Thanks,
=Adrian=

Adrian,

I have a number of Hitec servos working fine with 3 6014s in different airplanes, but none of this part number.

I did ask a Hitec rep at Toledo this spring if there was an issue with any of their servos and the 6014, and I was told that one specific model of servo had a manufacturing batch with an incorrect part (a resistor, I believe) that made them overly sensitive to low input voltage, and might not work correctly with the 6014.

Since this was a mfg issue they told me that they would be happy to repair it (I presume as an "extended warranty") if it were sent in.

You should call the Hitec folks directly to confirm this, of course, but this is my experience. I have always had great responses from Hitec whenever I ask them a technical question.

I believe the servos in question were th 5955's. They worked for some but not for others. I have bunches of Hitec digital and analog servos working with the 6014 and the 608 receivers with no problem.

I haven't taken a reading on the 608. I have 608's and 6014's and have had no problems. As I recall Hitec was offering a free repair on the offending servos.

Do a search of "5955's" and I think you find a long discussion on the problem.
