Sounds like your throttle servo is messed up or the radio signal isn't good. A non broken in engine or carb shouldn't go totally run-away.

Hi, I just tried to run my Losi DBXL to break it in, but when it starts, it runs away. According to the manual, I should not adjust the carb settings until after it has been broken in. Why is it running away? What can I do to prevent it from running away? It should just idle at a still position, shouldn't it?
    Thank you.
