Hawk Sky motor cut out when increasing throttle
I recently bought a Hawk Sky. When I took it out to fly it, the motor could just stop if I increase the throttle too quickly and if I go past the half way point. Does anyone know why it does this? How do Ifix it? Batteries for the plane and transmitter are fully charged.
Transmitter has switches AIL and ELE in NOR, THR and RUD in REV. Trims are all in the middle.=
Here's my steps in powering everything on:
- Turn on transmitter
- Connect the battery to the plane
- Heard a beep, follow by 5 single beeps a few seconds later
- Rudder, Elevator, Aileron all working fine
- When increasing the throttle, motor would spin if I keep it at the bottom, but as soon as it goes max or increase too quickly, it would just stop.
Thanks for any help you can give

RE: Hawk Sky motor cut out when increasing throttle
Did you change your prop? Maybe its too big...
Or try reprogramming your ESC maybe it is set for hard start..it should probobly start with a soft start. Anyway ask your friends in the field how to program your ESC.
Hope this helps<input type="hidden" id="gwProxy" /><input type="hidden" onclick="if(typeof(jsCall)=='function'){jsCall();}else{setT imeout('jsCall()',500);}" id="jsProxy" /><input type="hidden" id="gwProxy"></input><input type="hidden" id="jsProxy" onclick="if(typeof(jsCall)=='function'){jsCall();}else{setT imeout('jsCall()',500);}" />
