Its already long overdue now. A little birdy I know at OS Japan told me it was in development nearly 1 1/2 years ago and due out soon but that was 18 months ago. Maybe the project was scrapped?

The 1.40 four-stroke engine mentined above was an experimental prototype engine that O.S. showed at a trade show in 2000. They never stated that they were working on it for production...it was just one of the many ideas they were working on at the time.
Since we're only the service center for O.S. Max engines in North America, we'd not know of any new developments until O.S. makes their official announcement.
