The FX 1.6 can run on 0% nitro.
For the FX-FI a minimum content of 10-15% is mentioned.
Is this amount really needed or can this engine run well on 0% nitro.
In Europe nitro is quite expensive that is why i would like to know. All my Saito engines which ask for 10% nitro according to the manual I can run on 0% too. I add some 2% cleaning naphta to obtain a stable idle for the 4-strokes on 0% nitro.

My Feedback: (11)
The nitro content mentioned is essential for proper running of the O.S. Max 1.60 FX-FI fuel-injected engine. The control software is calibrated for running 10%-15% nitro fuels, and will not run the engine at the proper mixture if a low-nitro fuel is used.

If its just the software perhaps in future versions this could be parameterised.
10-15% doubles the prices of glow fuel here in The Netherlands.
