I put in a link to the classic TS Eliot poem, "The Wasteland" - it came out pretty stylin' with that site.

Childe Roland to the Dark Tower came was pretty funny too.

The original 1988 my god was too sweet to look at.[8D]
You know what would make me happy, seeing a pic of Stallard's Grasshopper.
Yep, he might still be a tamiya fan![8D]

It's an interesting poem. Dark Tower series (by King) was a fantastic read - inspired by those poems (in part), of course. Which leads one to read the poems, and analysis of those poems (since they're pretty wacky). I was just doing that when I read the post here about Pimpin' sites. Good timing...

Check stallards experince, 24 years operating, 20 years racing....wow! That is tottally true!
He was racing against my cousin in the 80's so R/C racing runs in my family.
I dunno If stallard got beat by my cousin because I never asked him that, but didnt mean to scare him away like I did.[&o]
My cousin raced an Ultima, stallard raced a grasshopper.

I loved King's Dark tower books. But could never get in to the Lord of the Rings novels.

Do you like Lord of the Rings movies?!

It is interesting that only w/ all the new computer graphic technology available today that some of these movies can be brought to life!

Jim,

What servo will you use? I know it will be giant scale for the steering.. will you go full digital? I'd assume that you will, right?! (why half ***** now?! )
The kit includes a Metal Geared High-Torque Steering servo. As soon as that one strips, I'll grab a nicer setup, but I'm gonna run the ole' work horse first.
how much torque dose it have??
It's a Re-badged Futaba S3306 with a Custom Metal Gear-set.

So, it does 333oz/in in .16sec @ 60* (6volts)
---

HPI Seems to use primarily Futaba Electronics with a sticker on the case in place of the Futaba sticker (same is true for the RTR Baja's Radio)
i wonder if it's the same tx as the Tower 2TXP? seems like that tx is used in a lot of RTRs, and i know i've seen it with at least one HPI RTR. is it a boxy design with three trim knobs on the top, with throttle and steering at the front and the rate adjuster at the rear?

i know the Tower TS-53 is identical to a Futaba S3003, only because i've broken both and the servos i have are pieced together from TS-53 and S3003 parts.

I think in my newest order, I get a free TS-53 from Tower.. so it is a S3003?! Good to know!

(yeah, I placed another Tower order.. terrible.. )

I am addicted to RCs... [:'(]

That would be a sad day... we will all just be driving 300C then..

At least give me the SRT8 300C.. LOL!

Oh my I am very mad right now. Seems that the new damn CAFE standards for the future may kill off my favorite car of all time, the Dodge Viper.

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do...ticleId=124224

Read the last paragraph.

This is horrible news, I mean what happens to Corvettes and Vipers??? The competition between the two have been wonderful look at how the cars have progressed over the years. but htis it out of control killing off icons [:@]

Hope it never happens if it does I won't be a happy camper.
Hey I like the 300 also! I prefer the Charger though, plan on getting the Charger R/T or Daytona versions someday.
i was waiting for years for the Barracuda to come back. but then, no more Plymouth.
