I have been sucessfully tasete averted to watermellons as a child.
When I was very young, maybe 4yrs old, my mom tried to make me eat watermellon. I was put off by the smell, and I refused. She made me eat it, and as I was munching away, I didnt know you had to spit out the seeds! so I ate the whole thing, and the seeds made me sick, vomitting and all.
To this day, the very smell of watermellon makes me queasy.

You don't have to spit out the seeds and they shouldn't make you sick. The seeds evolved (or were created, if you like that better) to be eaten whole and be excreted somewhere in a nice pile of fertilizer, thereby continuing the species.

Yeah, I heard that either through eugenics or gen mods, modern watermellon seeds are now very consumable.

I actually enjoy watermelons, nothing can beat a nice cold watermelon on a hot summer day.
And AutoX, Ive actually noticed that too, maybe just a shortage where we live?!
