Finally got the RC10GT running!

I drove it and holy crap it's fast and the 2WD makes it scary as hell.[X(]

I love it though!

the GPV-1 is a great bike.. however that new pro kit has an issue that needs to be addressed for someone that might buy one.. the metal head stocks are fragile.. one whack and itll bend the heck out of em

the new 1/4 scale dirtbike looks awesome and i plan on getting one.. to add to my collection

i have the GPV-1 RTR and DX450 and im VERY happy with both

That VMX 450 1/4 scale bike looks real nice.. Kinda glad I didn't buy the DX450 yet.

They should make a larger GPV-1.. instead of only 1/2 the size of the dirt bike!! [:'(]

I don't know yet LB. I do want a bike but I am waiting to see how well the Venom bike does on the reviews first. Hands down the Venom bike looks better than Duratrax so I am hoping it does well. I hope street bikes catch on too and they release one in 1/4-1/5 scale with a gyro for the non technical.

A 1/4th scale road bike would be cool.. let you run all the 1/10th scale electronics.. !!

thats the point! if you can keep an overpowered 2wd under control then you can drive most anything. its a real skill.

Hehe, the 2WD braking, the single disc brake that's not as effective as an electric motor brake and the jumpiness of the throttle makes it a real handful!

Good thing, too, because if I can get this thing to slide getting the TA-03F to slide shouldn't be a problem!

The bikes just don't look realistic to me... the chain drive and real disc brakes are cool but the way the front wheel wobbles around (like on the DX450) just makes it look so weird and toy-ish.

Yeah that front wheel wobble takes away from the effect, but it's still fun . I've driven the DX450 and love it, it's quite a blast. The VMX 450 looks even better.

the front wheel wobble is easy to deal with a steering damper stops it all but completely the venom GPV-1 is an 8th scale the dtx is a 5th scale "a large 5th scale"

as for 1/5th scale street bikes.. there out there you can buy the generic "its identical and uses the same parts as the thunder tiger FM1E/TTE im told... you can find it on ebay" or you can get
a TTE Desmosedici GP8 for a bit more here http://2wheelhobbies.com/product_inf...roducts_id=891 bruce "the owner of 2WH" is a great guy to deal with an he has some good deals on the bikes he sells

.. on-road bikes don't need the Gyro that an off-road bike uses the front wheels on those are heavy and do the work of the gyro the reason off-road bikes use
the in wheel moving gyro is because the surfaces they run on are odd off kilter and slick makes it hard to keep up the speed that the on-road bike can maintain "thus keeping the on-road stable"

as for the DX450 for those interested.. after some extensive running straight out of the box is quite good.. with the 2s3300 im running wheelies on command stable stable stable.. did i mention its stable?

the only thing ive seen that it needs is the steering damper to stop the head shake and smooth out the steering a bit more .. i also ordered the aluminum front fork set because the stock forks are non oil boingers and they have a bit of noise to them.. bugs me so im changing them out .. but its really unnecessary

i like the look of the big 1/4 scale bike and it will be added to my collection

I have the new f104's and I am scouting ebay for f103's. I am trying to get the 6 wheeler sometime too. My goal is to just have a nice shelf display in the end with 5-6 built f1's.

I'm sure you could drive one of your MT's in the snow...

I don't want to drive my onroads in the rain and my only offroad is a nitro.[&:]
