MegaTech - Wright Flyer

RE: MegaTech - Wright Flyer
im pretty shure its a 2 channel plane that uses thrust to steer and go up and down. if it is then it wont fly to well. if you want a wright flyer, try the one from great planes. its not rtf, so you need a charger, radio, and 2 sevos, but all of those can be put in new planes too, so you save in the long run. theres a review of it here http://www.rcuniverse.com/magazine/a...article_id=336

RE: MegaTech - Wright Flyer
I've read several reviews of it in printed R/C magazines and all said it was a fun and respectable flyer in relatively low wind conditions. Note that NiMH batteries must be used (charged and flown) at least three times for max power; if they've been sitting idle for some weeks or months, this must be repeated. Further, NiMH batteries MUST be charged until they are 55-60 degrees Centigrade (130 - 140 degrees Fahrenheit) or they will have dismal performance, AND must be flown immediately (say, within 20 seconds max) after being so charged and heated, as they will quickly cool and lose their power! Several of the reviews mentioned the capability to R.O.G. from smooth polished wood (or similar) floors in indoor halls: I guess THAT means climbing power!
