GWS speed controls any good?
I just bought an E-flite Gypsy, and I'm looking at putting a GWS speed control in it,which would you guys recommend,10 amp,15 amp. Also I want to get a couple of nimh battery packs, can't afford to step up to Lipo right now, they specify 7 cell 730 mah, will the flight times be reasonable.Thank you

I don't know the type of motor on the plane. If you can let me know that, the gear ratio and the prop that will go on it, I can give you a much better answer.
If it's a 300 type motor, it's possible the 10 amp will be at it's limit in high throttle situations. In that case, you'd be better off with the 15 amp ESC.

I have had nothing but solid and relailable performance from GWS ESC's!
I like the ISC-400 (15 AMP) ESC since they are very robust and work perfect.
The earlier (newer) ISC-300 are good but, you really need to stay below the maximum rating on these since heat will ruin them and you may lose your model should a short circuit results from overheating.
Prices and performance from GWS ESC's are really hard to beat for brush motor applications.
