RE: What do ya want for christmas?
How about a Pro-Bro event on the west coast, and we send all the members traveling money, hotel fee, and the biggest Texas BBQ ever thrown. That coupled up with a no wind, 70deg weekend, $100,000 in prizes would have to be a blast. Hell, I'd settle for just going to a Pro-Bro even if it rained. I think we will come to one next summer. Maybe I could talk Gator into some formation flying... Yea, if we can find a bathroom with (2) crappers BENDER

I would like a 150inch profile loaded and when I crash it I hit a button on my remote and a new one automically reloads on the ruway.

I would like to have a days 48 hours long, so after work I will have enough time to build and fly my airplanes every day. It's just so may planes to build and fly and so little time.
BTW - winter sucks. It's just a couple hours of daylight, and all that time I have to work for my "sponsor" (I work, he pays me so I can fly)

P.S. Planebender, my Profile Edge is almost ready too. We will be flying together soon.

RE: What do ya want for christmas?
Heck all I really want is more time to fly. I have been to the field only 6 times this year for a total of 15 flights. Well 7 if you count the time I took my 6 year old for her first flights. Of course there are a lot of planes out there I'd like to have, but I have 2 now that almost never get flown so why bother wanting more.
BTW, my 6 year old solo'd on her 4th battery pack using a Hobby Zone Commander. Not sure how many flights it was exactly since she likes to climb to 300-400 feet and then glide down, land and try again.

You know, I really always seem to find the money to get what I want. I need some time. In the three years since I started to learn how to fly, I have used 3 gallons of fuel. Some people I know do 3 gallons a week. I would love to see how far I could take my skills, having time to practice.

I would have never guessed a gallon of fuel weighed 25 pounds! what the heck is a pound and pittence? is that the same thing as quids?

.., you (guys from US) pay a pittence (a small amount of money) for fuel.
for a gallon of 20% YS fuel we pay 25 (United Kingdom) pounds (GBP - currency used in UK = about 1.7 USD)...
I know that stuff, because my coworker is Brit.

Ok got that, but just because the exchange rate is 1.7 US dollars to a Brittish dollar, that doesnt mean they are paying more for fuel does it? Unless the fuel is made in the USA and shipped there I would think Brittan is making glow fuel too

I guess it goes this way:
We drive more -> we use more gas -> the price is lower.
We fly more -> we use more methanol & nitro -> the Hobby Shop guy likes us more

But if we are talking hobby stuff, hehehe, I sure would like Waco or Christine Eagle, 40ish size, with a bit extra grunt by way of a 60-80ish 4 pycle!
If we are truely dreaming, How about a Valkyrie, with 6 jets and a 9C radio to work everything. Make it about 12-14 feet long, and even have the wing tips adjustable like the real one was.
