Default Gloowbee in Q40 engine

HI,
what happens if I use gloowbee in Q40 engine ?? has anyone tried? [sm=confused.gif]
just because I want fly this week end , but I finished normal glow [&o]

Paolo,

Obvious issue is wire gauge. Heavy duty plugs use heavier gauge wire, unless you have glo bees with heavy wire. The other issue is making an adjustment to head volume due to the lost volume of a standard plug.

It will require some tinkering to get clean runs but can be done.

Merlin makes a plug similar to the glo-bee style, spiral wound on a porceline base, give it a try - but you will need a good glo driver to lite it as they do draw a little more current than the regular plugs.
