Default Hobby King ESC problem

My latest project has a hobby king 100 amp esc,. I am using a spectrum dx transmitter and receiver. The problem is, if I turn off the transmitter before I turn off the receiver the motor will immediately go to full power. Is there any way to fix this as I feel it is an accident waiting to happen.

Thanks

DARoberts

Set your throttle failsafe to 'off' on your TX.  You should allways turn off RX first.

Yes. Don't do that.

Set your throttle failsafe to 'off' on your TX. You should allways turn off RX first.
You will have to re-bind the RX to the TX to do this, make shore that the throttle stick is all the way back, this is how you set the failsafe with Spektrum.

Cheers
