Fuel Line Set Ups
I am setting up a new plane with a cowl and would like to be able to put in 2 fuel dots to do all fuel management, can you guys give me some ideas on 2 or 3 line set ups that can aid in a cowled engine set up?

RE: Fuel Line Set Ups
One fuel dot T'd to the clunk line, for fill and drain. or to a second clunk in a 3-line system.
One T'd to the muffler line for a vent you can see.... (or to the 3rd line which would be a vent at the top of the tank with the muffler pressure line going to a second vent at the top)
If using a Hayes tank or GP tank with the 2 molded nipples at the top of the tank.... the upper would always be the muffler. If you use the other nipple its your overflow/vent to the dot. (if you do it the other way you fill the muffler)
If you can easilly access the muffler pressure line or if the muffler will drain well instead of flooding the engine... you can do just one dot for fill-drain.
Difference with gasoline engines... the muffler line for glow is usually just a vent on the gasser. No big difference.
