Default 4 stroke engine exhaust extension

Has anyone tried putting the clear vinyl tube on the end of their 4 stroke engines to extend the exhaust away from the plane ?
Will the fuel eat the vinyl tube ?
Will the heat from the muffler melt the vinyl tube ?

What is the best thing to use for this purpose ?

Thanks

Hi!
Teflon tubes are the only material that can stand the heat!
Vinyl will melt!

Look at aluminum refrigeration tubing. It comes in the right sizes and is dead soft, easy to shape.
