Default Dual vs Single Conv (nube)

I know the Rx needs to be rated dual or single conversion to work with the respective crystal, what about the Tx? Is it also rated one or the other? Can I just swap the Rx and crystal in my EZ-Star with dual conversion or do I need a dual conversion TX as well? Remedial question I know, but still trying to figure things out.

'Conversion' is only on the receiving end.

Thanks. THat's what I wanted to hear, seems to be more dual conversion receivers and crystals available at LHS and E-Bay.

Be very careful getting anything off of ebay. Unless you know exactly what you're looking at, you could end up with stuff that is not compatible with your existing equipment. Often, the sellers know nothing aboutthe products, so you cannot rely on the descriptions they provide.
