.46 LA Wont idle
Have check the obvious.... Clunk line, fuel lines, ect. Before i start messing with the air bleed screw and needles, I don't think it should matter but the engine was mounted upside down due to cowl. that should matter right?

RE: .46 LA Wont idle
upside-down glow engines do not ever idle as well as right-side-up. when upside down, they are more sensitive to needle valve settings. this particular engine does not have a low-speed NV, but rather a air bleed screw. I have found with this engine it will not idle very well if the high speed NV is too rich. go ahead and lean out the high end until it is peaked, and then set the air bleed. if possible, turn the plane upside down (so the engine is right side up) when you are starting it. If the engine is too rich, the excess fuel tends to drown the glow plug element.
