There are a number of mail order houses that sell it.

Forget buying preformed LE stock, it is usually very heavy and seldom straight and true. Cut good quality sheet stock to fit and use a razor plane and sanding block to shape it as required. This lets you use light, straight wood for a better end product.
Edit: Here is a thread in the Pattern forum on balsa suppliers. If anybody is pickier than those guys on wood quality, I don't know them.
