I am looking to purchase a used plane from a guy. I am told that it has a 90 red head engine. Not sure if it is 2stroke or 4stroke. I've done a little searching online and i can't find anything about it. I was wondering if any of you have ever heard of it. Or maybe this guy just doesn't know what he is talking about. If it is real then does anybody have any opinions on the engine itself? Good, Bad? Pros, cons? I'd appreciate any info. Thanks

Obviously whoever is selling knows nothing of what he is selling, any number of engines past and present have used anodized red heads, McCoy and Jett are just two more examples.

Completely impossible to make any kind of assessment at all based on that. Be very careful buying stuff where the seller has no idea of what they have while that is certainly no crime however if you don't know exactly what you are buying then you are in for a lot of frustration.
