Default Broken RX Antenna

I just stepped on the antenna of a micro Hitec reciever. It broke at about the halfway point and I have never had this problem before.

Can it be re-soldered, or am I just asking for a crash?

Thank you,

Graeme

As long as the length hasn't changed drastically there is no problem soldering it back together. Put a small piece of heat shrink over the solder joint to protect it.

I'm not sure on Hitec but I've bought replacement antennas for Futaba receivers before. Just pop open the receiver, remove the old, broken one then solder the new one in place.
