RE: Official Hyper 8 Thread
There is a Hyper 8.5 pro on ebay which would be better as it not only is a pro but all so an 8.5 which handles much better then the 8. I would post a link but it is against RCU polices to post a link to ebay. All so there is a forum mediator that is jealous of me and sure he would delete it.

Ok, I just called Cust. Serv., the 9.5 Diffs do not fit the Hypers. I was curious because there is a guy in the classifieds selling a Torsen for a 9.5 for $25. Figured it would be worth a try for the savings, but not going to spend the money if it wouldn't fit.

RE: Official Hyper 8 Thread
Hi there,
I stripped out the screws that screw in the center diff housing from the underside of the chassis, does anyone know which ones they are?
They are just listed in the exploded diagram as part #31408, but I can't find these screws being sold anywhere.
Any help appreciated!

Been about 10 months since I did anything with my small scale stuff. The screw you are looking for is a 4x8mm flat head screw. Might end up selling both my Hyper 8 and 8.5 pro.

I would not say it is common but I have seen this happen. Most times it gets running so bad from the tune being changed most notice it before it comes all the way out. Make sure you have a good O-ring on it and if this does not work you can wrap a little teflon tape around the threads on the needle before installing it.

RE: Official Hyper 8 Thread
I have received my new carb.
P&P took les than 12hours. Incredible!!!!!
Will fix this one today. But the low end screw in this new one is so much more inbeded, orings seems to be bigger or unused.
This was in my opinion the main problem. Oring was to lose that is why I have lost the screw. So keep eye on them or it will cost you some pocket money and time[]!!!!!!!!!!
regards to all!!!!!!!!!

Do not know where in the UK to buy it or are looking for any where to by it. Not sure what sort of stores you have over there but a good Hardware store should have it. I can give you a few places in the US if you would like.
