Dubai - RC Events
Driver meeting will be at 3 and racing begins at 3:10pm.
That means you will need to have been registered by 2:30 as following the registration period, it takes about 15 - 20 minutes to input all the data into the timing computer.
Registration cut-off time will be 2:45 pm.
Give yourself ample time, come prepared to run, bring cold drinks, shade hat and sun-block. It's been warming up the past couple of days and probably won't be the nice 'cool' temps we have been used to from the past couple of months.
Oh....bring your cameras and video cameras as well please.
Look forward to seeing you all tomorrow for a good day of fun.

Yes the races are held at Al Lisaili off road race track. However the race track was built for 1:8 scale buggies and truggies.
Most other scale vehicles will break themselves into pieces. [:@]
Send me a PM and we can have a chat .
Hi. Are these races at Al Lisaili field? I have a 1/16 Electric, Kyosho Half 8. Are there any races for this category?
Guys, Nice fun race on Friday, even though I ran my truggy for 2 laps only... but still had a great time ushering and being so close to the action . Special thanks to DXBman and TG for organizing the whole thing and Lopez for my extremely s@xy paint job (1st pics TG posted!!!)
Gentlemen, need your help in a couple of points please:
1- Anyone know a place in Dubai that can do soldering on circuit boards? During the race, my ESC jump from its socket and ended up pulling the three controller wires from its main circuit boards. Satwas - Karam... your thoughts Please..
2- I want to get into buggies, but of course Electric. Therefore can all of you please recommend theBestbuggy Kit to get? Best in terms of:
- Durability: Most mistake forgiving as I’m not a pro like most of you guys are!!
- Performance
- Heavy Duty drive shafts, dogbones, diffs, shocks, hubs. I'm gonna run electric and those motors are mean with their sudden boost of torque
-Easy to tune
- Parts and Local support (a nice to have I guess)
- Open Budget, let's say I wonna go crazy.
Been eye the HPI Vorza for a while, but kinda concerned about the above points
Please do post here or PM is great too. Thanks in advance
I would suggest go for the HPI Vorza. It is durable, also got CNC parts and there is local support as well. Try and make sure get the hard ProLine Calibre Tires. Its a perfect fit for the Al Lisaili Track and should last for a while compared to other tires.
