Default plastic boat?

Hey rcu. I wanted to know if it matters if an rc boat is plastic. I bought this 32in boat that is for water use but just to float. i was thinking hooking up some motors and making the boat radio control. the hull is not that deep v, it is kinda straight. if you have any suggestions please tell me.

This is a small video of the boat.

Does it matter if the thing is plastic? Not really, there are a lot of plastic R/C boats around. Can you convert it to R/C? That's a definite maybe! Just depends on how much room you have inside the thing to squeeze all the things necessary into it, sort of. Considering it's size (32 inches) I'd have to think that it could be done. Easily? Beats me, no idea of what your boat is. Pictures, maybe??
