Need help for servo(?) issue
Hi, guys! I’m new here so I apologize in advance if this isn’t the right place on the forum of this.
Im currently having problems with steering my truck and I’m hoping someone here will be able to help me. See, whenever I turn my wheels right, they get stuck there, instead of returning to Center. The steering horn will re-center but the wheels themselves stay pointed to the right. This only happens when my truck is on the ground. When I lift the front end off the ground, the turning is perfectly fine. I don’t think it’s a problem with the servo because I tried switching it out with the one that came on my truck and I’m still having the same issue.
Something that may be important: On the arm that connects the wheels to the servo (I apologize, I have no idea what the technical name is), there used to be a little nub thing. After an afternoon of driving on trails, that nub has either worn down or was broken off somehow. I didn’t think it was a big deal because it didn’t seem to have a function. Was that tiny piece of plactic more important than I assumed? Is that the cause of my problem?
