i am buying the 1/10 scale electric drit star car at nitrorcx.com and was wondering if a brushless motor uprgrade would be a good idea compared to a lipo battery upgrade

Hello, I want to upgrade my motor, but i am wondering if I should buy a brushed High turn motor or a brushless low turn motor. I wen to my local hobby shop and the guy told me I could get the same or a greater amount of torque if I change my motor gear for a Higher or lower ,I don't remember. Will it be better? or will it be totally the same?

Can some explain what drifting is?  I'm totally new and reading the threads is a bit confusing.

RE: Before posting, READ this, it MIGHT answer a question

Yes it is.

I'm unstickying and locking this thread, since 5 FAQs with no elaboration doth not an RCU sticky make. Furthermore, for some reason, this thread keeps getting used to ask random questions rather than post additional FAQs relating to drifting.

If someone wants to create a real Drifting FAQ and submit it, I would definitely see what could be done about stickying it.
