If you copy and paste the link, tower hobbies says late oct... Who knows. I don't understand why car action would put it in the magazine and it's not even out yet. Kinda bull if you ask me.

As for the batteries... I have no idea. Everything thats in the magazine, I put up above. Most of the ad is a cartoon SCT, the name, and a picture of it...

2S lipos will work on it, possibly (probably) 3s too.
If I were in the market for a brushless for a short course, it would, for sure, without a doubt, be that combo.
Actually, I'd get the 4 pole 4600Kv MMP combo that will be out soon. now THAT will be sick...

ThunderbirdJunkie hopes the new Castle 3600/3800/whatever motor will be a 4 pole as well. Do you guys know if it's gonna be sensored?

Anyway, as far as what's currently available, an MM with a Castle 4600 would be gnarly in that truck. If you don't do it, you collect barbies. That's all there is to it[&:]

Ya mean the VXL-3S and Velineon 3500 that comes with the RTR? Its not the strongest, or fastest motor out there but as far as something that comes in an RTR Id say its pretty good. Im still running it on the track and keeping up with the others, but then again my fiancee's Blitz RTR in bone stock form (Firebolt 15T and such) with a 7.4V 5000mah NiMh pack just took third out of ten too. The motor you use could be the best but its usually up to the driver in the end. Cant wait to see HER with a BL system hahaha

After serious consideration I have decided to upgrade my VXL system with a MMP esc and plan on running either my Castle 1800KV 1.5 or Castle 2200KV motor in my platinum slash. I also run a 8 scale e buggy and would need to run one of the two motors in this vehicle. Which motor should I run in the Slash? (2S -7.4 V with 5000mah at 35C)........... My buggy has a MMM and I run 4S on 5600 mah with 50C. This is for racing only... Medium size track...
