Don't most Savage parts fit it? It's the same chassis as he Flux's, no?
Thats a negative ghostrider, hence why its not real popular

Damn. Really want a savage bad! Guess I'll have to get that stampede. 'sigh'
If anyone has a Savage Flux HP, and is willing to sell it, PLEASE tell me!
Although it probably will come down to nothing.

well if you are not in a hurry HPI is supposedly going to release a brushless 1/12th scale savage this summer that (from the videos) looks fast as hell. Supposedly it will be around $300

Check this thing out! Looks sweet! But is THIS better than a normal Savage flux hp?

Yes, I do know that. I just wanted to know which one you thought was better: the Mini Savage or the Savage Flux HP?

at the end of this summer? I've read around and people are saying its a 1/16 scale but its a little bigger than the 1/16. Some also have say its a 1/18 scale so I'm not sure

Looks 12th scale to me judging how bit it looked when held by the HPI rep in one of the vids. That or the HPI rep had very small hands.

Hmm... I heard somewhere that an E-Revo was only $450!
http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread...revo-Vs-E-maxx

The guy who said that was called Mass-Tmaxx. Is that actually true?

Yes, E-Revo can be had for $450 but it's NOT brushless.

Is the Flux XS better than the Flux HP? That's subjective as the XS is small and the HP is big.

I was browsing the web and came across the 1/16 brushless Summit for $289. https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...=ns&pn=TRX7207 It's not as small as you think and is only a bit smaller than the Stampede. Plus, it's brushless, 4WD, has 2.4ghz radio, it's based on a good platform and is within your budget.

I alsogive a thumbsup tothe Flux XS as an option if you can find one in stock.

Maybe a HPI E-Firestorm Flux 10t? Either it's that, or a Stampede.

I think the stampede will give you the best bang for your buck. Plus you can try to make those projects you showed.

OK, official statement. I'm looking at nitro now. I am appealed by the sound, noise, and workability on one, and that sounds interesting.
I narrowed down my search to these three:
http://strhobby.com/goods.php?id=1043
http://www.losi.com/Products/Default...rodID=LOSB0126
http://traxxas.com/products/models/nitro/5309revo

Which is better? Racing is of little concern, as the track we have at Sioux Falls is a small, paved on-road, but I do want something that can handle both on and off road well.
If there is anything else, tell me about it.

How does the durability of a Savage X compare to the HPI Baja 5b?? What about against the others? Need some more opinions.

That isn't an HPI Baja you linked to.

Also, the Savage is tougher than any other RC monster truck.

What do you mean, this isn't a Baja? I thought it was! Exactly what is it, and is it any good?

What makes the Baja better than the km clone? And how does the clone compare to other 1/5 scales?

HPI warranty on it I doubt KM warranties theirs
If I was going 5th scale I'd probably would go KM personally due to cost
