Damn. Really want a savage bad! Guess I'll have to get that stampede. 'sigh'
If anyone has a Savage Flux HP, and is willing to sell it, PLEASE tell me!
Although it probably will come down to nothing.

well if you are not in a hurry HPI is supposedly going to release a brushless 1/12th scale savage this summer that (from the videos) looks fast as hell. Supposedly it will be around $300

at the end of this summer? I've read around and people are saying its a 1/16 scale but its a little bigger than the 1/16. Some also have say its a 1/18 scale so I'm not sure

Hmm... I heard somewhere that an E-Revo was only $450!
http://traxxas.com/forums/showthread...revo-Vs-E-maxx
The guy who said that was called Mass-Tmaxx. Is that actually true?

Yes, E-Revo can be had for $450 but it's NOT brushless.
Is the Flux XS better than the Flux HP? That's subjective as the XS is small and the HP is big.
I was browsing the web and came across the 1/16 brushless Summit for $289. https://www.ssl-stormerhobbies.com/c...=ns&pn=TRX7207 It's not as small as you think and is only a bit smaller than the Stampede. Plus, it's brushless, 4WD, has 2.4ghz radio, it's based on a good platform and is within your budget.
I alsogive a thumbsup tothe Flux XS as an option if you can find one in stock.

RE: Need some advice for buying an RC!
OK, official statement. I'm looking at nitro now. I am appealed by the sound, noise, and workability on one, and that sounds interesting.
I narrowed down my search to these three:
http://strhobby.com/goods.php?id=1043
http://www.losi.com/Products/Default...rodID=LOSB0126
http://traxxas.com/products/models/nitro/5309revo
Which is better? Racing is of little concern, as the track we have at Sioux Falls is a small, paved on-road, but I do want something that can handle both on and off road well.
If there is anything else, tell me about it.

RE: Need some advice for buying an RC!
How does the durability of a Savage X compare to the HPI Baja 5b?? What about against the others? Need some more opinions.

What do you mean, this isn't a Baja? I thought it was! Exactly what is it, and is it any good?

haven't heard much bad about them personal. Heard they are pretty damn good clones from what I read
