RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
My votes blow it up. I have all my old stock stuff, and to be honest it just sits in my tool chest, I should probably sell it, but... oh well

ORIGINAL: 45mph pede
Still on the list is the swami once pece bar, and hes custom making it so that it goes all the way down the chassis and forms the front brace also.

That's the one I ordered. I was looking at the stock rear brace and it does look pretty weak so I figured the $15 extra for the one piece wheelie bar/brace would be a good buy. Can't wait to get it.
Also was wondering, have you or anyone else tried to use a transmission from a T-maxxs or Revo with a brushless motor setup to give it reverse? Naturally you'd need another servo to switch for forward to reverse as well. How hard would it be to come up with a way to mount it on a Stampede? I've been thinking about a brushless setup but I'd really miss having reverse.

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
My brushless has reverse...
It would be impossible (or darn near close) to mount an emaxx or tmaxx tranny in there, same with the revo.

Didn't think any of the brushless setups had reverse yet. What brushless ESC are you using?

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
T6 alum. wont bend... thats for sure. It wont scratch because im running heavy weight oil, heaver springs, and fuel line so that there is no bottoming out. Then after that, im running a wheelie bar, and im getting some plasic stuff to protect the bottom of the main chassis. I should be covered pretty well.

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
Yup!
I dont do that much bashing anyway. I take it off roading alot, at high speeds, and maby once in a blue moon jump it off a dirt mound. Most of my driving is on-road fast, or off road, realy fast
-Wes
EDIT: plus the replacement price if the thing does get scratched, or broken is 5$, thats less than a replacement plastic one!

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
That is sweet. Now I want one for my pede but I don't have any extra cash laying around at the moment. I also like that it has the extended arms included.*insert drooling smilie*

RE: OFFICAL PEDE THREAD
Well, got my pede today! And let me say i am VERY pleased with the quality, way better than i would of guessed with bushings and all. The suspension is silky smooth, wich also was a suprise to me
Im gonna like this truck (after i rip all the stock electronics off and burn them[>:])
