If it is completely packed, the grease get squeezed out... Would be interesting to pack it up w/ Tamiya's anti-wear grease, though.. those are stupid sticky!

anyone here using revo shafts for their txt?

can you please post a picture of the revo shaft in your txt? i'd especially like to see how the shaft is kept in place. afterall, the design of the txt's stock shaft is quite different from the revo shaft, isn't it?

and just to confirm that the image below is the right one, is it? any addtional parts need to be ordered for the shaft to fit?

thanks! got my txt in march. till today, it hasn't ran an inch... it's lacking skid plates. it's lacking servos. it's lacking a novak hv maxx 6.5. it's lacking lipos! and of course, it's lacking monstrous drive shafts!!

"Accident"?!?! [:@]

It will be a simple direct fit (with minimal modification needed, although you do need some.. which was documented in the thread..)

Glad that you got the TXT up and running! No problem w/ the parts.. glad that you can use it.. although I am still preaching to get the aluminum parts.. hee hee..

HELLO ALL! I've been very very busy with school and helping run a business.... anyways, lets talk some TXT-1!

mine is loads of fun to play with, and even more to work on :P. but the steering is funky, and has never really worked right... sometimes it only wants to crab walk... and I can't seem to get it to properly work in true 4x4x4... but hey, whatever....

also, i have decided that the current 80 oz/in servos just wont cut it, at all... i need some much powerful ones....

What did you have on there before? Integy parts are really soft, they have that reputation.

They are not for my TXT.. I was just buying stuff for Arild.. (he is based in Norway)

I use NewEra skids and Tamiya alloy holders.. unbeatable combo...

I can't find the aluminum cantivilers, and I sold the pair I had....

I don't wanna get more plastic ones cause they will probably strip after awhile.

What size are the 4 link rods again? I thought it is 6-60 but I'm not sure (with 4-40 threaded inside for the ball connectors)

OOPS LOL.....

Didn't Tamiya make aluminum shocks for it too? They still make a couple things for it, I know that...

I don't think you would have problem.. the axle holders looks to be pretty strong..

The skids might be a little bit thinner compare to the NewEra.. but should still be okay..

Cool. Maybe I'll get dents and scratches on the skids that shows it's really in use I'd not want people to think my TXT is a shelf queen [8D]
