That is abother reason I dont want integy shocks, I heard their products, shocks in paticular, are horrible, and I dont want to risk 90 bucks and get a bad batch.

Well, I may be a bad driver but I will let the truck do all the work Actually I'm not that bad anymore, I look back at my noob days and it's funny how I always got mad about always breaking stuff and I broke like everything there is to break. Now I havent broken a part in months, even with brushless. The mini is an acception of course, it's so small and dtx plastic is weak if you land bad once you snap a knuckle or suspension arm. I have some friends just getting into the hobby and they break tons like I used to and I hope it's just a phase as it was me

No thanks, I dont want to take a 10 dollar risk for that matter. I'm saving whatever I can for a new mountain bike.

The only thing about the original that I did not care for.
The dog-bones would strip out due to regular jumping and driving.
Luckly the problem was fixed with the super blackfoot.

ORIGINAL: bmaglinger

I'm just wondering how tough the Blackfoot Extreme is.[:-]
the only thing that i dont like is that the chassis is lower to the ground, and the chassis design. i like the space frame type better (the type that is on the frog and brat)

The tvp chassis is awesome, allows for an infinate amount of chassis possibilities.

You talking about the Extreme or the original, because the original had a red plastic chassis.

Bud, I've owned an original blackfoot and twin detonator, and know some people who own frogs, I know the difference
Blackfoot extremes and td's have a tvp chassis.

Twin Vertical Plate, like a savage, just plastic. Most aftermarket ones are sheet aluminum or cf and make it look more TVP than the plastic.

Is LB ever gonna buy a Blackfoot Extreme, because I'm concentrating on racing at the moment and
dont really have time to bash and race. Id really like if he puts his build right on this thread.

Did you ever race LB before or not?[&:]

That last pic with the bumper...It's the same bumper they put on the gravel hound....
I guess tamiya likes to re-use parts for other machines...
