Yes we do, well I got my motor fan and my pinion gear set, just letting the thread lock set and dry good. Wanna see if my car is running hot still and I'll keep messing with all the different gears that came in the set.

Do you have a castle link? You can hook up your ESC to a laptop and adjust timing, punch, power, brakes and dial it right in so your not spinning out all the time.

That's my next order I'm planning on investing in. So smaller the pinion is the less load on the motor correct? I've really never tried to gear any of my cars properly.

Yeah don't need much speed I did the speed thing with my Savage XS Flux and that's sitting in a box with a bent motor shaft, busted drive cups, shafts and snapped dog bones.

Yeah I'm not much for the speed thing anymore. I mean it's fun when my friends think they can beat but me, but I would like to enjoy running our rc track for a while. My Savage XS Flux is sitting in a box with a bent motor shaft, snapped dog bones, busted drive cups and axles. That will be my side project of getting it back up and running.

Just mounted my Dirt Hawgs 2 on some HPI gray split 5 wheels. Also got my trenchers on split 6 beadlocks. Colored them outside of the wheels black. Wish I could post pics of it and our track

The thread is livening up. Bleiwalo - I assume you are stationed in Afghanistan? I know the guys at RC car highlighted some servicemen in Iraq a few years ago that set up a track.
I am charging a battery now for a drive tonight. Its my first real run with it since I put the bigger motor in. I have 3s, 4s and 5s batteries ready to go...think I will stop at 3s, though.

I'm yeah over at Afghanistan, there's about 4 other people out here with me that have cars also. We got tired of just driving around in the dirt, and since the dirt and equipment is free we decided to make use a track.

It's the HPI F-350 truck body. Down fall, had to cut the top portion of my rear shock towers to get it at this height, no biggy.
